Everyone who had experience working with the mainstream SIM800L EVB module knows too well how difficult it can be to make the module work. There are two main reasons for this difficulty. 1. You have been sent an untested and defective board ( unbelievably common) 2. You are using a power DC converter circuit not suited for the SIM800L module.
