Type B Soldering Iron Tip 900 Series
Material: Copper with Iron-Nickle Alloy plating
Iron-Nickle plating makes the tip slightly less heat conductive but extend its usable service life. Note that Iron-nickle also makes the tip magnetic.

Type B has pointed tip for improved solder retention. Best for soldering discrete SMD Chips. Can also be used for drag soldering of closely spaced SMD devices pins.
